Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar(XIMB) was established in 1987. XIMB has been awarded the SAQS Accreditation by the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) for a period of five years. The Institute is led by a Governing Board consisting of representatives from the Orissa Jesuit Society, Government of India, and Government of Orissa and eminent invited industrialists and educationists.
