Students Complain on MHT-CET-2012 Exam

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET-2012) was held on March 11 across the country for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) courses in the state of Maharashtra. Around 85,00 registered students attended the CET exam, out of which 9000 students are outside of Maharashtra.

Students appeared for the MHT-CET-2012 found that examination tough to crack. Many students were not able to complete the paper in Logical Reasoning and Virtual Reasoning sections had more twisted questions. Students had expected this year CET will be the easier one, but case was different. This will effect in bringing down the cutoff percentage at top MBA colleges in state.

MHT-CET-2012 is the last for this year, from the next academic year CET will be replaced by the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

This year totally 42,165 MBA and 12,050 PGDM seats are available in the colleges across the state.
